  Great nursery for our cold winter climate, and local extremes. Fantastic selection of plants that really grow in the Blue Mountains. Wonderful range of natives. And you can also get landscaping products from the Nursery. A beautiful and peaceful place also to have a coffee or just browse around the grounds and watch the gardens change with the seasons. I learned over the years as a Mountains resident that many retailers up here (variety stores and hardware) often carry inappropriate garden stock for our climate and soils. Don't waste your time, experimenting.

  Shocked to find that this nursery sells banana passionfruit, a highly invasive weed both here in Bilpin and at Mt Wilson and the target of much government grant money to clear it from these areas. The staff were quite defensive about the matter, with one saying that if anyone from the Mt Boyce area bought the plant it would die anyway, as the plant wouldn't take the cold temperatures of the area. Which make you wonder why they would sell it...either it will die or will become invasive. Highly irresponsible. I won't be shopping here again. Bunnings in Penrith advised against buying it (even though they do stock it).
